THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ONCOLOGICAL REHABILITATION AND LYMPHOLOGYMay 11-12, 2012, USTROŃ
In May, we participated in the fourth International Symposium on Oncological Rehabilitation and Lymphology featuring 25 lectures. The scientific part was enriched with exhibition stands offering equipment and hosiery for people with lymphedema. Kati was one of the exhibitors. Our stand offered extensive information and advice.
The integral part of the Symposium was a lymphedema workshop run by Ft. Dott. Rinaldo Caldirola (Master of Physiotherapy).
THE 7TH CONGRESS OF POLISH PHLEBOLOGICAL SOCIETY
March 1-3, 2012, ZAKOPANE
March 1 to 3, 2012, we participated in the seventh Congress of Polish Phlebological Society. The congress attracted many medical specialists. Numerous important topics of the modern treatment of varicose vein, venous shin ulcers, lymphedema, embolism and thrombosis were discussed. We also had the opportunity to participate in phlebology workshops dedicated to e.g. compression therapy, new endovascular treatment techniques and ultrasound of the venous system. The Congress also hosted a professional exhibition closely related to the topics.
